Parts Coordinator

Alvarado, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Assists machine operators, welders, and other personnel in loading/unloading, transporting raw, in-process, and finished materials throughout the facility.
    Must be able to accurately identify raw material needed to supply to production.
    Uses 36,000lb forklifts and other heavy equipment such as cranes to move various sizes of steel plates and poles.
    Coordinates incoming and outgoing parts.
    Responsible for ensuring correct parts are issued for jobs ordered and substitutions are recorded.
    Keeps hardware tracking accurate and up-to-date.
    Communicates with multiple departments regarding hardware status.
    Prepares hardware for distribution according to shipping schedule.
    Moves in-process and finished poles to appropriate area in yard.
    Performs safety routine inspections prior to operating equipment.
    Abides by all Safety Standards and Policies including use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
  • • At least one year of forklift driving and/or crane/heavy equipment experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to read blueprints required.
    • Basic Math skills required.
    • Experience with Hardware Coordination preferred.
    • Experience with MS Office such as Word and Excel.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail are important.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with frequent interruptions in work flow and constantly changing priorities.
    • Must possess clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must work with minimum supervision and with all levels of employees, supervisors and managers.
    • Must have good computer skills for record keeping and reporting.

Heavy Equipment / Forklift Operator, Shipping

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures quality of all shipping items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items as well as taking steps necessary to protect items from damage while being loaded on trucks and in shipping containers.
  • Loads and unloads material in a safe and organized manner at all times.
  • Pulls and prepares materials for shipments as needed.
  • Uses small hand tools such as pneumatic staple/nail gun, banding equipment, stencil machine, digital camera and radial arm saw as needed.
  • Uses overhead crane as needed.
  • Maintains a complete knowledge of all yard bin locations.

  • Candidates must contribute to safety and quality control standards.

Contracts Administrator / Customer Service / Clerical

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates proficiency in product knowledge, its applications and all related job functions.
  • Makes initial contact with the customer upon receipt of an order to establish a dialogue and to determine the points of contact between the customer and Sabre Towers and Poles.
  • Manages multiple customer projects and maintains all schedules for each of the customers' order.
  • Coordinates required schedule requirements between all departments.
  • Assists other departments by coordinating and documenting changes that may be required by the customer.
  • Ensures timely construction schedules by coordinating delivery arrangements with the customer and contractor schedules.

Lead, Fabrication / Welder

Responsibilities:
  • Gives daily work assignments to personnel within the department. Makes decisions regarding work priorities based on published schedules and conversations with manufacturing manager, taking into account his/her knowledge of assigned personnel, individual skills and existing personnel vacancies.
  • Continuously monitors progress on daily work schedules to assure that satisfactory progress is being made.

Machine Opertor (ID Cage)

Alvarado, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Compile blueprints to with needed pages and discard those not needed for programming
    Validate blueprints are accurate and inform drafting of any discrepancies
    Assure accurate input as using Labelease and Vantage Program
    Communicates directly with shop and supply the correct ID with Travelers
    Creates all programming
    Create six week schedule to stay a head of the shop
    Creates sign out sheet and assure track ability
    Track the amount of ID’s produced each month and keep stock pile of those needed to run different jobs
    Complete other assignments as required and provide assistance

Inventory Control Specialist, Warehouse

Responsibilities:
  • Performs cycle counts of all parts and materials.
  • Maintains bin accuracy and precise counts for both inside and outside bins.
  • Tracks and records heat numbers for all jobs and production orders.
  • Inputs correct counts of material and parts into Epicor.
  • Verifies all material and parts are returned including counts, part numbers and checking for damage.
  • Receives incoming material into the ERP system.
  • Issues and ques material out of inventory.
  • Pulls and prepares product for production and shipment.
  • Operates a forklift and other equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stocking, and counting materials in accordance to production standards.

  • Reads blueprints and flat sheets to lay out work within tolerances to ensure accuracy and to meet required specifications and department quality standards.
  • Adjusts settings on the machine to ensure proper positions meet tolerances and various specifications.

Material Handler, Warehouse (Part-time)

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Moves and stacks materials using a forklift when needed.
  • Performs receiving and pre-ship functions of all types of material. This would include duties such as verifying that part numbers and quantities match the bundling sheets or inbound BOLs.
  • Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensures quality of shipped items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items as well as taking steps necessary to protect items from damage while they are being loaded and transported to vendors and customers.

                • Uses Metalcore welding processes
                • Welds and stands for long periods of time
                • Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine proper location of attachments, as well as weld size and configuration
                • Possesses good hand-eye coordination
                • Understands basic math skills, including reading of a tape measure
                • Practices safety and quality requirements
                • Performs work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
                • Inspects work for defects and repairs flaws prior to QC Inspection

                Requirements:
                • Must pass welding test utilizing either AWS and/or CWB standards
                • 3-5+ years of experience
                • Lifting up to 50 lbs
                Educational Requirements:

                  • Nights: 5p – 3:45a
                  • Frequent 6 day work week
